Kaisercraft (digital): My TAG layout

The stars were aligned and favored me this time, lol!!! SO yes I got in the digital CT of Kaisercraft! Yeppperrss!!! :D

We were asked to submit 1 AAM layout, 1 layout using the TAG kit and some hybrid stuff if we make 'em.

Here is the layout I submitted using the free TAG kit (my model is my cutiepie nephew, Hunter)...

I made it simple but included everything I like to do with my digital layouts - blending modes (can't remember how many blending modes I used, lol!), layering (though just a tad bit here).

My Little Attic: a layout and a mini-album

Hmmm OKAY... these are the last stuff I did for MY LITTLE ATTIC back home (I'm still in Singapore atm)... honestly, I feel sad posting this coz I am not sure if I will ever see these layout and mini-album again when I get back home.. well, as I said.. these are just stuff.. can be replaced...

Anyway, here take a look :)

FOODTRIP - Actually I made this one after I finished the mini-album. I used up most of the papers and these were actually scraps.. again, I LOVE using scraps, scraps can make your creative juices flowing.... photos were taken at Esplanade near Marina Bay (I THINK?? lol I am not sure).

SINGAPORE trip 2008
The mini-album is about my first trip here in Singapore... pictures were not so great coz we always run out of battery whenever we go out lol! And some were taken from celphones... but still, I'm so happy we were able to capture great memories :)

Cover - thinly, I painted the cover with white paint to break the colorful patterns of the paper.

First couple of pages - also painted thinly before adhering the chipboards, strips of papers and other embellishments...

Inserts - another way of including lots of photos and extra journaling spots are page inserts. Adhere only the top and bottom parts of the panels so you can still insert extra pages.

On the last panel, I adhered and clipped souvenirs from the trip.
There you go... I think it will be a couple of months more before I can scrap traditionally again... First, I don't have stuff anymore. Was thinking how will be able to part with my stuff when it's time to go for me to K.S.A. to be with hubby. Well, Ondoy decided for me not to bring anything after all... har har....

Submerged in water

That's what happened to my inlaws' house in Cainta, Rizal.

We're all frantic and worried to death when we saw the late/delayed news from GMA 7 yesterday. Was trying to contact everyone, my brother, sis & brother in laws, relatives and friends to know their whereabouts. We're unlucky last night but my non-stop text messaging and even posting on my Facebook wall paid off when a text message from my brother got through us.
He said they're fine coz they're in higher grounds (Antipolo City) but Felix Subdivision and Midtown Village were submerged in flood water. Felix - most of my relatives live there and Midtown where my inlaws are.
A cousin informed me through Facebook message that the house at Felix Subdivision was indeed submerged and they were all in the 3rd floor of the house.
Later this afternoon one of hubby's SIL answered my text message and informed me my FIL and the rest of the family were in the roof of the house! This really saddened and alarmed me so much I almost cried.
I know I can't do anything about it but pray.... pray that they will not get sick, stay safe and hope that they get the help needed and fast, especially food and dry clothes.

Here's a clip I watched from the internet it came from GMANews.TV. This place is very near to where my families are. This is what I saw this morning that made me worried sick. Reality struck.. and it's sad and painful to know we might have lost people we love and care about and we can't do anything coz we're thousands of miles away from them.... so we're still THANKFUL that it's just things that were drowned, material stuff that were sweeped with mud and not lives lost.
