Clique Kits: 2017-18 Fall/Winter Design Team Blog Hop
Hello!
To enter to win, simply like and follow Clique Kits on Facebook and/or Instagram, and follow the Clique Kits blog. In addition, leave a comment with some love on each blog. We would love it if you tag a friend along the way, and both you and your friend will be granted additional entries. The more you share, the more chances to win. So here we go!
A little bit about me:
I'm Donna Espiritu, from the Philippines currently living in Saudi Arabia with my husband and darling daughter who is turning 3 this coming October (how time flies). I love getting crafty especially creating scrapbook pages. I also do digital scrapbooking so I dabble with hybrid (digital + paper scrapbooking/crafting combined) from time to time. And I am currently addicted to decorative planning!
More fun facts about me:
1. What is your favorite technique to use in your layouts/projects? - if layering is a technique, then it is my favorite! And/or clustering. I just love to add bits and pieces on top of each other to make chunky layers. I know it can be bulky but I love how my projects look with all those layers and clusters of embellishments.
2. Who is your favorite designer? - this is a tough question but I answered this a while ago in the CK FB group page. It's between Suse Fish and Kim Watson. And I'd also like to add Paige Taylor Evans! They're my idols and inspiration!
3. How did you get started scrapbooking/card making? - the "obsession" started after I got married, around 2004. I wanted to make my own wedding album but ended up making my first niece's baby album instead. There was a time (2009) I stopped paper scrapbooking when I went to Singapore for a vacation before going here to Saudi Arabia to be with hubby. I continued scrapbooking digitally and also started hybrid (mostly card making) because I missed creating with papers and scissors :)
4. What do you love the most about creating? - Scrapbooking has been and always will be a form of creative expression for me. I get satisfied when I finish a project, may it be super simple like a 30-minute layout or a 5-days-in-the-making layout lol I also like that I get to document moments in our lives especially my daughter's who is growing up way too fast. I love that I can record our memories, both special and everyday stuff, through pages we can go back to from time to time.
