Pretty Paper Studio's 6x6 paper pad blog hop!
Hi all! It's blog hop time again and today we're featuring different 6x6 paper pads available at the Pretty Paper Studio store.
By now, most of you would notice that I love mini-albums. I love it because it's so easy to make and you can never go wrong. I mean, with my style of creating a mini-album or any page at all, I don't have a..concrete plan :D I only have is an idea but along the way another idea will pop up so it changes..something like that :D That's what kind of happened here with this mini-album. The initial idea is a summer-themed mini but along the way it turned out differently (somehow) so I decided it will be an "any day" type of mini :D That's much better so photos will not be restrained from summer photos only, right?? :)
So, just to give you an idea how I made this...
I started off by cutting one 12x12 cardstock into 6 equal parts ending up with 6 pcs of 4x6s. I chose different papers from the pad and cut into half. I used up almost 8 6x6 papers from the pad on this project.
Then I used the Triangle Mosaic by Balzer designs and inks from Prima on the cream cardstock. I used a sponge to tone down the colors of the inks on the cardstock. I used one of my trusted deco scissors to cut off some of the edges as you can see in the image above.
After you finish all the cardstocks...it's time to assemble. This is always the fun part for me! Well, from start to finish should be fun :D :D :D (note: I just put white paper in the frames to easily picture out how the frame looks like on the cardstock)
As I said, I don't really have a "plan" but I have an "idea" how I wanted my mini to look like... and I captured it just the way I like it. I pictured in my head small photos to insert in those frames, enough to occupy the 4x6 cardstocks or the 3x6 papers from the pad.
(Since its a lot of pictures, I made a slideshow of all the panels)
I used different bits and pieces from previous PPS kits with some yummy ones which you can find in the PPS store....
Dear Lizzy Neopolitan Title stickers Parakeet, Authentique Journey Diction stickers, October Afternoon Sidewalks word stickers, October Afternoon Sidewalks buttons, Dear Lizzy Neopolitan chipboard shapes, October Afternoon Sidewalks flower sack, Dear Lizzy Neopolitan Remarks stickers, MME Miss Caroline Dolled Up Princess layered stickers, October Afternoon Sidewalks Chip N Stick, MME Miss Caroline Celebrate twine, AC precision pen (black)
I hope you liked my mini-album! :) Next stop, Irene's blog.

I think it's cool when you combine two different colors....
