The Petaloo and Graphic 45 blog hop: Day 4
I am excited to share with you what I have created for the Petaloo and Graphic 45 blog hop! We're on day 4 and we still have lots of fabulous projects to share with you all!
Here is the Halloween decor I created for this hop. I wasn't able to get my Petaloo flowers on time so I just used what I have and somehow made it work for my idea!
"Magical and enchanting Halloween hanging wood decor"
There were several papers in the collection that were dream come true for fussy cutters like me. Even the smallest of prints (like the roses) added great dimension when popped up with foam tape. I created this wooden decor painting the wood with gesso and then purple acrylic paint. After the paint dried, I applied Mod Podge on the surface and started decorating with the fussy cut pieces. I also made a wing out of washi tape adhered on a piece of patterned paper and placed underneath the woman figure, depicting either an angel or a fairy. Up to your imagination!
I brushed stickles on some parts like the flowers and some of the fussy cut pieces using my finger. I finished it off with a ribbon attaching it to the back.
I hope you liked this and do visit the Graphic 45 and Petaloo blogs for more inspiring projects from fellow DT members and for a chance to WIN great prizes!!!
